Project 1- T'Shirt design

Ok, I guess we have to post the 1st project into the discussion board but in the course calendar it says to post it to the blog. Well, here it is.

Additional Comments 9.26.08:
The theme for my T'shirt project was to recreate a logo I had made in Photoshop for my husbands online fabrication business. I'm planning to set up printing materials sometime and the Photoshop version just would not do.
My husbands trademark and passion (besides me of course...) is his 67' Chevy Camaro. I left out the ghost flames but I think for the size of it that's good enough.
I had to reduce the size of the lettering and direction of the font to fit the project requirements.
Well, I have to say I'm very curious about the coloring lessons with gradients and other groupings.
Some of the difficulty I had was that I would fill in the gradients for the back window and it would change it on the hood also... Flash does this portion so much easier!!

Ok, this is my first doodle. Well, it's funny the colors I have at my design are blues...was I supposed to use RGB? Why would it look red and yellow here? Help!

Hi everybody, my name is Janja (pronounced like Yanya).
I was born in Switzerland and have been living in the US for the past 8 years or so. Currently I'm re-directing my career from jeweler to web and graphic designer.
In my free time, I'm a passionate off-road rider, soccer player and scuba diver.
During the Flash class I took last semester I searched everywhere for more vector graphics. I couldn't find any so that's why I'm taking this class.
